Promemoria is the concept of transforming historical archives into drivers of strategic and cultural innovation.
Promemoria is the language connecting the past, present, and future into one narrative.
Promemoria is the pathway for your brand to reach new heights.
We are alone in Italy in providing specialist heritage services for the collection, preservation, and promotion of the legacies of corporations, institutions, and collectors.
Our core business is to create and connect historical archives through the collection, selection, and organization of materials into digital archives and to work to maximize their value. We also curate exhibitions and gallery showings, develop brand heritage and historytelling projects, provide training courses, and help optimize corporate content management.
An all-round service — from the planning of the project to its full delivery and the promotion of the outcome — backed by the professional expertise of a multidisciplinary team that today has grown to over 40 people.
The value added by Promemoria lies in our people. It is thanks to our staff of professionals specialized in various fields of management and cultural heritage that we are able to develop tailor-made solutions for our clients. Project and digital media managers, researchers, archivists, cataloguers, IT developers, computer programmers, web designers, graphic designers, video makers, copywriters, architects, restoration professionals — a team of over 40 people bringing together archival expertise, artistic sensibility, technological know-how, and passion for detail, all with the discipline to keep to strict time and budget limits.
Promemoria works with various partners in promoting collections and know-how worldwide — from the organization of Heritage Departments for big international brands and the creation of digital archives for institutions, art collections, and publishers, to the celebration of corporate anniversaries and the creation of exhibitions designed for their stages. At the same time, we offer specialized services on the institutional and cultural fronts, including fund-raising plans, video and virtual tours, thematic portals, and interconnection projects for archives, libraries, and museums. Promemoria has a number of major public partnerships in place, including: a Convention with the Directorate General for Archives (DGA) for the design of national archival systems; a Memorandum of Understanding with the IUAV University of Venice for the digitization of heritage assets held in fashion archives; partnerships with the Polytechnic of Turin and University of Milan Bicocca (UNIMIB).
Promemoria is also a partner of the Fashion Research Italy (FRI) Foundation and the Italian Family Officer Association (AIFO).
