Promemoria created Lavazza’s new physical and digital archives, managing all stages externally and physically organizing the materials, and provided its expertise for the development of the Lavazza Museum project.
Building on its project management and historical and digital archival expertise, Promemoria mapped and reconditioned all the heritage material held by Lavazza and the company’s paper and digital flows. From there it created the digital platform, enhancing it with a distinctive narrative and contextualizing it in the historical fabric. Promemoria also advised on documentary production from the active and inactive records of the company, which are part and parcel of its heritage. In just a few years, over 7000 objects and records were digitized, catalogued, and cross-referenced to over 19000 media objects—including calendars, commercials and advertising campaigns of various kinds, key company documents, reports, ledgers, patents, publications, and more.
